The Ribbon Cliff Residence is a modern architectural retreat nestled along the Columbia River, offering panoramic views of the Ribbon Cliffs near Chelan. Comprising three distinct structures, the design caters to the diverse needs the homeowners, balancing shared communal areas with private sanctuaries. Expansive glass walls blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces, immersing residents in the natural beauty of the river and cliffs.​

Emphasizing a strong connection to the river and the natural environment, the design integrates outdoor living areas that invite residents to engage with the serene setting. The orientation and layout of the buildings are thoughtfully planned to maximize views of the river and the Ribbon Cliffs, particularly during sunset, when the landscape is bathed in warm, golden hues.
